USA Beef Tour and the Calgary Stampede
Join this exciting and educational tour to the USA to learn first‐hand about the American beef cattle industry. Fly into Denver, Colorado and travel north through "Cowboy Country" visiting cattle producers and spectacular sites in Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana, then head to Calgary in time for the "the greatest outdoor show on earth", the Calgary Stampede! The 2012 Stampede is the centenary show, so expect a big one!
Offering the opportunity to come to grips with the US cattle industry's infrastructure, the tour includes visits to seed stock breeders, commercial cattle operations and feedlots. As well as the agricultural aspects, there's also time to discover and enjoy some of the spectacular scenery of the USA and Canada with visits to national parks and reserves, including Yellowstone ‐ the world's first national park.
