TOUR SYNOPSIS:
This is a tour that will tick the bucket list for many! A tour that includes the pure enjoyment of travelling to an exotic location, with spectacular scenery, the thrill of an African safari, the pleasure of great wines grown for centuries in one of the great wine regions of the world, and for the lovers of croquet, the opportunity to play at the most prestigious clubs across South Africa.
The tour will be accompanied by a tour leader who has lived in South Africa, who has a sound knowledge of its history, culture and customs, and who nowadays shares the enjoyment of croquet at both a social and competitive level.
The tour concludes with an opportunity for those with an eye on competitive occasions nominating for the South African National Croquet Championships.

TOUR ESCORT – Colin Beckett
Colin started playing croquet when he settled on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2020. He is now an enthusiastic regular at the local croquet club and starting to participate in CQ and SSCR golf croquet competitions. Colin is well experienced as a tour leader – having led and escorted numerous groups
around Australia and many parts of the world since stating AgTour Australia (a forerunner to Quadrant Australia) in Rockhampton back in 1985. Between 2003 and 2019 – Colin spent much of his time in South Africa.
Today he is partly retired, but still plays an active role as a director with Quadrant Australia, and recent establishment of Croquet Tours.
