Join Robyn Rowe, a well-known tutor from Bernina, and meet textile artists in their studios. Learn new skills with a variety of hands-on workshops and share fun and friendship with local quilters and craftspeople. Visit the exhibition of Changing Threads National Contemporary Textile Fibre Art Awards, as well as quilt and craft shops, textile studios and galleries. A highlight of the tour will be an inspirational full-day hands-on workshop with ‘NZ Textile Experiences’, held at glorious Fairfield House, a venue full of history, beauty, warmth, and grandeur. A perfect and calming atmosphere to soak up the knowledge and information from talented nationally acclaimed fibre art tutors.
