Emily Perkins
Hailing from Holbrook in the Riverina, Emily is a graduate of the University of Queensland and currently serves as General Manager – Feedlot at Ravensworth Feedlot.
Emily has extensive experience across the beef supply chain, having spent a significant part of her career working within the feedlot division of a major meat-processing company. Her broader industry experience includes breed development for Shorthorn Beef, human resources and strategic planning within the early childhood education sector in Western New South Wales, and feedlot management consulting.
Emily is also actively involved in her family’s beef cattle operation, which encompasses cow–calf production and both grass-fed and grain-fed cattle turnoff. She has travelled extensively throughout the world and is a Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.
